Make Belgian Waffles in your house

As you may guess, Belgian Waffles came from Belgium. But they became popular all over the world. We divide them into two types: Brussels and Liege. Brussels waffles have right – angled shape and they are mostly soft. They are served heated and you may often add such fruits as bananas, strawberries poured with chocolate. And, Liege Waffles have solid, round and oval shape. You may always eat them cold or heated as well.

Now, there is an opportunity for you to make the traditional waffles by yourself.  And the following recipe below will help you to make an incredible dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 Cups
    Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Baking powder
  • 4 1/2 Teaspoons
    Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons
    Sugar
  • 4
    Eggs
  • 1 1/4 Cup
    Milk
  • 1/2 Cup
    Butter
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Vanilla

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.

  2. Separate egg yolks and whites. Mix milk, butter and egg yolks. Then add vanilla.

  3. Blend first mix with second. Mix everything until it become smooth.

  4. Beat the egg whites until they form soft peaks. Add it to the butter.

  5. Preheat the waffle iron and brush it with oil. Close the lid and bake it until it stop steaming and the waffle become golden brown. Serve hot with jam, chocolate or ice-cream.
