This time we send you our best from France and present you the recipe of one of the most delicious cakes – “Paris Cocktail”. You don`t need to spend all day in the kitchen. At least 1 hour and 30 minutes and the cake is done in the perfect way.  “Paris Cocktail” is a very tasty delicacy. It is made of the choux pastry and cream. An unforgettable nice smell and a unique taste are its main reasons to try. Maybe, it may seem very familiar to you as the pie shells have some similar features with classical honey pie. But there is a difference. First of all, the cream is completely different. Second of all, the pie shells are more crusty and may remind you a soufflé. One way or another, you should cook it and make your own opinion.


Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons
    Honey
  • 150 Grams
    Sugar
  • 3 Millilitres
    Vegetable oil
  • 180 Millilitres
    Hot water
  • 500 Grams
    Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Baking soda
  • 250 Grams
    Butter
  • 600 Millilitres
    Milk
  • 3
    Eggs
  • Vanilla
  • 100 Grams
    Hazelnuts or almonds

Instructions

  1. Pre – heat an oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Mix a flour, sugar, butter and water. Then put it on fire. When the mixture begins to boil, take it away and add the flour, mixed with baking soda. After this, divide the dough into 6-7 pieces, roll it, and bake each pie shell until gold. The shape can be round as well as square.

  3. Crumble eggs with sugar up and mix it with the flour and cold milk. Then put it on fire, stirring all the time till the mass gets thick. Take it from the fire, chill it and add hazelnuts and vanilla. When the cream almost chills, take the butter and mix it well with blender.

  4. Smear the pie shells with the warm cream.
