Tasty and nutritious Broccoli casserole

People all over the world adore Broccoli casserole. Latvians make it of fish and potatoes. Greeks like it with tomatoes, minced meat, and aubergine. And Finlanders eat it with mushrooms and cabbage. African people call it Bobotie. By the way, they cook it with mutton and dry fruits. Today I offer you to make this tasty, nutritious and international dish, which is famous worldwide.


Ingredients

  • 300 Grams
    Broccoli
  • 5
    Eggs
  • 100 Millilitres
    Milk (1%)
  • 10 Grams
    Parsley
  • 100 Grams
    Mozzarella
  • 3 Grams
    Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut broccoli into florets and boil it over a medium heat for 5 minutes to make it soft and tender. After the boiling, drain the water and chill it.

  2. Whisk an egg with milk until smoothness.

  3. Wash herbs and chop it finely. Then cut mozzarella into small pieces.

  4. Meanwhile the broccoli has already chilled. Coat baking pan with the olive oil and put the broccoli into it. Sprinkle it with herbs and add mozzarella.

  5. Pour it with egg and milk mix, without touching the edges of the pan, leaving a little space for casserole “grow”.

  6. Then put the pan into the oven (180 degrees) for 20-25 minutes.
